FireMate has released an update to the Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) report generator. This will coincide with the recently regulated version 4.0 of the report as released by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment.
In short, if you're reporting on any property in NSW, the new AFSS report generator has been updated in line with the regulation.
Three enhancements have been made to the way FireMate populates fields in the report.
- In this latest guise, the AFSS requires an address of the Accredited Practitioners (Fire Safety). The address will be populated from your Business Entity associated with that property.
- We have also added the ability to nominate a specific employee as the APFS for all products tested where a single certifier audits the site.
- Lastly, we have added the ability to populate Section 3 of the report with the building owner's name and address. This information is taken from the "Customer" field associated with the property.
These changes to the AFSS report are now live.
